Over three years ago we opened our doors, it was my vision to offer a comprehensive range of dental services while using current technology and techniques. Our focus and emphasis is on your dental and overall health. We believe in educating you on how best to care for your teeth, and recommending options for your care, so that your dental visits are a positive experience in a caring and comfortable setting. We want the best for you and to give you and your family a healthy smile!
Dr. Yohannes Melkie
Dr. Yohannes Melkie was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He attended the University of Ottawa for 4 years and obtained his degree in Biomedical Science. This was followed by another 4 years at the University of Western Ontario where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation Dr. Melkie moved to Fort Mac and has been practicing here ever since. Dr. Melkie enjoys working with patients in a collaborative manner to ensure their oral health needs are attended to.
Dr. Melkie enjoys taking time away from the clinic to attend various conferences and training sessions in order to stay current and provide his patients with the best quality treatment.
Outside the office Dr. Melkie is an avid sports fan. During his time off you might catch him at an Ottawa Senators, Toronto Raptors or Blue Jays game.
Dr. Cristina Rodrigo
Dr. Rodrigo graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical science from Toronto Metropolitan University with the Toronto Metropolitan University Gold Medal. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. During her time at UofT, she was the founder and President of Women in Dentistry.
Following graduation, Dr. Rodrigo practiced in Northern Ontario before moving to Fort McMurray. Among her patients, she is known for her calm demeanor and patience when working with folks who have dental anxiety. Dr. Rodrigo has a passion for providing comprehensive dental care to her patients in a gentle, empathetic, and compassionate manner.
In Dr. Rodrigo’s spare time, she loves spending time painting and taking care of her cats, Sr. Alfie Dum Dum and Mangosteen. She looks forward to meeting you to discuss your oral health care needs.
