A toothache or abscess is an infection that occurs in and around your gums and teeth. Please see a dental professional as soon as possible; if left untreated, the infection can get worse and possibly spread to other parts of the body. We recommend taking Advil or Ibuprofen to help with the pain until the issue is treated.
Save any pieces and rinse your mouth using warm water. If there’s bleeding, apply gauze to the area for about 10 minutes or until the bleeding stops. Apply a cold compress to the outside of the mouth, cheek, or lip near the broken/chipped tooth to keep any swelling down and relieve pain. Contact a Dentist ASAP.
Collect any missing teeth and store in milk as the tooth can be saved if acted on right away. Knocked out teeth have the best chances of being saved if returned to their socket within 1 hour of being knocked out. Please call us at (780) 666-7327 to book an emergency appointment today!
If a crown falls off, make an appointment to see your dentist as soon as possible and bring the crown with you. If you’re feeling pain, use a cotton swab to apply a little clove oil to the sensitive area.
Sometimes a temporary restoration can be placed in the interim while you are waiting for your appointment for either a crown or new filling to be placed. Please see your dentist as soon they can get you in.
First, rinse your mouth with warm salt water and apply gauze for 15 to 20 minutes if bleeding. To help with bleeding and pain control, we recommend adding ice to the sensitive area for 5 to 10 minutes. If the bleeding doesn’t stop, see your dentist right away or go to a hospital emergency room. Otherwise, schedule an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible.
Whether your suffering from a Toothache or abscess, chipped or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, lost fillings or crowns, or experience bleeding gums, tongue or cheeks; we’ve got you covered.
